HydroTex HD
The new HydroTex HD material is one of the most important features of the new Trekking series and is the result of our search for a lighter but nevertheless high-strength flysheet fabric. This material, exclusively manufactured for Robens, is a 75 denier high-density ripstop polyester with a PU coating and a 5000 mm waterproofing rating, which is further treated to be flame-resistant for your greater protection. All seams are made additionally waterproof using the latest machines, so that our Trekking tents can withstand the worst weather and the highest winds – even after years of intensive use.
Weight of tents
In the documentation for Robens tents we always list two different weights: The maximum (max.) weight is the weight of the complete tent as we supply it - including the carrier bag, pre-attached guylines, pegs, repair patches, and a spare ferrule for pole repair; with the large Adventure models this also includes the groundsheets for the front living area and the poles and guylines for erecting the entrances. The minimum (min.) weight is the weight of the tent without guylines or any other accessories and with only the basic minimum number of pegs needed to erect the tent.
