Simon Laurant 16,000km Solo-Cycling Adventure

Simon Laurant has let us know that he has packed his Robens Voyager 2 tent and aims to leave France on 23 March for a seven month 16,000km South American solo-cycling adventure.

His itinerary starts with a flight to the Dominican Republic where he intends to explore the country by bike before crossing the border into Haiti. Here he will support PLAN INTERNATIONAL with its work helping the country’s poor children, using funds raised during his French lecture circuit to buy toys and school equipment.

Simon will then fly to Venezuela loop around Guyana, Suriname, Guyana and Brazil before returning to Venezuela. Colombia also calls if time allows.
