Can I find out what year my tent was produced?

You will find a label normally located in the right hand bedroom. At the bottom right of the label you will find something similar to ‘O/A 11’. In this case it means the tent was produced in 2011.

I have damaged my tent. Who do I contact to get it repaired?

We are happy to use our expertise in tent repairs to rectify any damage that has occurred through accident or wear and tear to a tent that is no longer in warranty.

This will be at your expense and there will be an examination fee of DKK 400 excl. VAT to cover time and labour if you choose not to have a tent repaired after inspection. All repair costs are based on the current hourly rate and spare part prices.

All repairs need to go through you local Robens dealer. Pictures of fault and damage will help us in the assessment. It often helps to describe or demonstrate a problem by attaching pictures.

You can also contact www.scottishmountaingear.com (SMG) who is specialist in repairing outdoor equipment in UK. Alternatively, your local dealer may also be able to provide you with details of a local repair facility.

Where can I see a specific Robens tent erected?

We do not currently record which tents can be seen on display around the country as this is a decision made by the dealers. We suggest you visit Robens Dealerpage and call the Robens dealers closest to your location and ask them if they have the specific tent erected.

Does your warranty cover poles?

We do not warrant against malfunction, failure or damage of fabric and component that has resulted from improper or unreasonable use, misuse or damage sustained after purchase, or subject to normal wear and tear such as limited or incorrect pitching, poor maintenance, abuse or neglect, using the tent not fit for purpose and alteration of the tent or damage due to excessive winds/weather, improper re-packing or natural degradation due to sunlight.

We do not sell directly to private customers. Warranty issues are to be handled by the dealer (Sales of Goods Act). We therefore kindly ask you to contact the Robens dealer where you have bought the product. They will then be able to advise you further.

Please bring you proof of purchase, as this is required with all potential warranty issues.
