The four new lightweight Couloir down sleeping bags have a Technical Mummy profile with a Toray nylon Taffeta shell to ensure performance. This is enhanced by the double zip baffle and the new oversize contoured thermocollar (except Couloir 250) that creates a snug fit over the shoulders to eliminate heat loss through the bellows effect. Hood and baffle drawcords are repositioned for ease of use from within the bag and all couloir sleeping bags feature a centre zip for easy access – a feature appreciated when in the confines of a small lightweight tent.
The Standard Mummy profile of the three models in the new Serac range combine with a choice of Down fill weights in a box wall construction to provide the best
warmth to weight ratios that covers most general outdoor pursuits. They are very compressible thanks to the quality Down filling, making for a small pack
size, and come with a compression stuff sack and mesh storage sack for optimal storage condition on tour and at home.
The four new Icefall sleeping bags use MicroThermo High Loft for superior insulation and compression. This sits between a nylon ripstop shell and polyester Taffeta lining in a double bottom layer and a shingle
construction upper that sees overlapping angled layers of insulation prevent cold spots by providing secure positioning and uniform loft – extra insulation is added to the footbox. The new thermocollar is contoured for
a snug fit over the shoulders and is just one Icefall feature that defines use for demanding conditions.
The three sleeping bags in the new Glacier range offer a great combination of functional performance with superb value for money and include a Junior
option. With the same attention to detail as other Robens sleeping bags, they offer features most often seen on high end models, like a YKK zip,
anti-snag zip guard and insulated zip baffle. The mummy shape and AirThermo insulation make for good levels of warmth in all situations, with the synthetic fill construction tailored to
suit intended use.
The two Far Away sleeping bags offer low weight and a compact pack size perfect for travel and backpacking in warmer climes thanks to the
lightweight construction and the trapez relaxed cut that provides a comfortable level of freedom to move while maintaining performance. Fully featured,
with high quality YKK L-shaped zip for ventilation at feet and an insulated zip baffle, they use the innovative MicroThermo filling that provides good
insulation and compressibility.
Designed for leisure campers looking for home comforts with a technical bias that ensures a good night’s sleep, the new Crevasse range includes two new features for versatile temperature control. To cater for different sleep positions,
the two sleeping bags have a half zip along each side that allow the front panel to be fully opened to create a ‘duvet’ featuring small wings that can be tucked around the body for extra insulation. If the temperature falls then the duvet
panel can be zipped up to create a full sleeping bag. The bags also feature a zip-close opening that allows feet to be slipped outside to cool when temperatures rise.
