Robens 2016 News

Robens has an enviable reputation for combining design, technical features and quality materials to create reliable products that deliver genuine and enduring value for money.

Our attention to detail, supported by rigorous testing, is born from our passion for the outdoor life. And as outdoor enthusiasts we want to ensure outdoor adventurers get the very best equipment at a sensible price to ensure their dreams turn to reality.

Robens tents offer unparalleled award-winning excellence, reliability and value. Each of our six tent ranges feature models answering subtly different requirements to provide everyone the best possible choice no matter their needs. Our new Ultralite range sees the launch of the Falcon UL and Buzzard UL that’s designed on the successful award-winning Buzzard. The range addresses those weight and pack size expectations demanded by anyone who need to move fast and/or light.

The popular Lite range is now lighter and more compact, with its award-winning formula applied to two new tents: the Merlin and Kestrel. These utilise a new pole configuration to increase space. The introduction of the Spectre 2 and Woodland 3 add even more choice to our largest Trail range of practical, durable, technical tents for tough conditions.

We created the Sierra range to provide a choice of dependable tents for those looking for an entry-level product that has special appeal to youth organisations and new adventurers. This year we add three new tents to cement the popularity of these time-proven Robens designs. These take the form of the X3 HT dome and Black Shrimp 3 and 4 tunnels.

Our Adventure and Outback ranges continue to build an enthusiastic following with active families and groups looking for reliability, performance and a technical heritage from a good-looking tent that sets them apart from the crowd. 2016 sees just minor modifications and while the line up of superlative polycotton Outback tents continues the polyester Adventure tents get a Chalet 500 option and Double Dreamer tunnel.

Our new additions to our Trailhead sleeping bags add smaller options for children and small people to meet family needs while new Atlas, Carpathian and Pamir ranges build on choice to match with tent and needs for ultimate performance. This is enhanced by the addition of new self-inflating mats and airbeds.

Our comprehensive range of accessories provides even more choice. Furniture, cooking accessories, lights and day packs especially, have developed to create a portfolio that addresses needs and has appeal across numerous diverse markets. As reflected in previous years offerings our 2016 products and developments continue to cement our support for our belief in Pure Outdoor Passion
