Get to know your Robens tent
In this section we will explain the many technical features that go into making a Robens tent, to ensure everyone is able to make an informed purchase and better differentiate the tent models.
In 2025 there are six ranges of Robens tents:
Performance:
Robens Performance dome and tunnel tents include all core features required by up to three adventurers to meet moderate technical challenges in diverse landscapes. HydroTex Core polyester outer fabric with anodised aluminium poles perfectly balance weight, packed size, protection and stability. Perfect for those entering the world of outdoor adventure.
Expert:
Robens Expert dome and tunnel tents provide full-featured technical options for up to four seasoned adventurers taking part in outdoor pursuits where nature rules, no matter the environment or mode of exploration. Part of Our Promise initiative, the range uses the latest HydroTex Recycled polyester fabric and anodised aluminium poles.
Lightweight:
Robens Lightweight tent range meets the needs of those focused on what they carry in more extreme conditions. The versatile FlexPitch system allows options no matter the weather and is ideal when it's hot or windy, and is resistant to insects. Multifunction features, HydroTex Nylon RS outer and aluminium poles minimise weight and packed size and maximise functionality.
Fieldbase:
Robens Field Base tents allow the adventure to continue with minimalist designs for small groups and families looking for the added comfort created by space and full standing height. The selection includes easy-to-pitch extended dome and tunnel options that provide proven stability for prolonged camping. Unique features include Robens Versa outer for adjustable venting and views.
Navigator:
Robens Navigator tents are recreated from a retro design much loved by bushcraft enthusiasts. The tents are made from a ripstop synthetic fabric with aluminum poles to reduce weight and pack size. This improves performance and makes them easier to transport and maintain in wilder environments and unexpectedly challenging weather.
Outback:
Robens Outback range appeals to bushcraft enthusiasts who cherish wilderness camping while embracing modern materials, features and manufacturing techniques. Offering a variety of sizes and styles, these retro designs meet all expectations. They are made from HydroTex Polycotton and have features such as internal adjustable ventilation and exhaust ports for tent stoves.
