Challenger 3XE

The Challenger 3XE is our popular side-entry sloping tunnel design that provides stable and comfortable space with enhanced headroom for three people while minimising pack size and weight. An extra door to the rear offers convenient access without disturbing others or if weather conditions dictate. The offset inner gives extra porch space to maximise storage, and there is also zip access from the inner to an additional storage area at the foot of the tent. Mesh pockets and a gear rope add to storage options.

Robens Tests

Robens Wind Test: The determination of the performance of a Robens tent in wind is based on the knowledge and technique available to Robens at the time of testing. During the test we register the maximum (MAX) speed impact a tent was subjected and the average (AVG) wind speed at which structural instability occurred. This may appear as a broken/deformed pole, or the collapse of the tent and subsequent return to shape when the wind drops. At no point was any form of catastrophic failure experienced up to the maximum wind speed.

Pitching
