The new Verdin sleeps two and uses our HydroTex® AWT-LT silicone polyester to provide all-weather tension with enhanced stability in high winds. It also has higher UV-resistance and greater tear strength than normal lighter tent fabrics. Its Yunan alloy hoops provide an aerodynamic profile that enhances space at the head and create a large porch. The external door has a two-slider zip to open the top for additional ventilation

The Internal Pole Sleeve System is used in the Lite range to give a smooth profile to the flysheet, avoiding snow build-up and maximising wind shedding. External access ensures ease of use particularly in demanding conditions.
Clip connector keeps inner tent together with flysheet during pitching.
Storage pockets for inner doors mean they can be stashed away neatly to open up the space and avoid accidental damage.
Adjustable clothesline to dry cloth and gear.
Ample hoods shelter the vents that allow a healthy adjustable airflow through the tent whilst keeping out the elements.
Guyline retainers hold folded guylines securely when packing away to avoid the nightmare of tangles and knots later.
Ripstop outer fabrics highly resistant to damage and limits tear travel.
Reinforced triangular guying points spread the load taken by the flysheet in strong winds.
Mesh with mosquito net for ventilation and to keep insects out.
Packsack for stowing with roll down closing.

Robens Tests
Robens Wind Test: The determination of the performance of a Robens tent in wind is based on the knowledge and technique available to Robens at the time of testing. During the test we register the maximum (MAX) speed impact a tent was subjected and the average (AVG) wind speed at which structural instability occurred. This may appear as a broken/deformed pole, or the collapse of the tent and subsequent return to shape when the wind drops. At no point was any form of catastrophic failure experienced up to the maximum wind speed.
HydroTex® HD is a fabric again made exclusively for Robens to address our uncompromising need for a light, strong, durable flysheet material. Seams are fully taped for a durable waterproof seal, the tough 75 denier high density polyester has a polyurethane
