HydroTex® CORE
HydroTex® CORE has been created specifically for our new Route range of entry-level technical tents
This is a tough, durable, 75-denier polyester fabric that features embossing, a fire-retardant treatment, and a polyurethane coating with a 3,000mm hydrostatic head. This is a reliable performer in the varying conditions encountered during less demanding outdoor trips.
HydroTex® HD RS Recycled
A sustainable and robust 75-denier polyester fabric made from recycled materials, PU-coated for enhanced waterproofing.
With high water column pressure, this material provides reliable protection against the elements while retaining the same strength and durability as the original HydroTex® HD RS. Ideal for extended use in varied weather conditions.
HydroTex® SilPoly RS UL
HydroTex® SilPoly RS UL is an ultra-lightweight, high-performance 15-denier ripstop polyester fabric with a silicone coating on both sides.
The double silicone treatment enhances tear strength, durability, and all-weather protection while keeping weight to an absolute minimum – making it the perfect choice for technical tents where low pack weight is essential. Its high hydrostatic head ensures reliable waterproofing, and the fabric’s UV resistance extends its lifespan, even under prolonged exposure to sunlight.
HydroTex® SilPoly RS
HydroTex® SilPoly RS is a lightweight and strong 30-denier ripstop polyester fabric with a silicone coating on both sides.
This technical fabric balances durability and reduced weight, offering excellent waterproofing and tear resistance. The silicone treatment provides enhanced weather protection, while its UV resistance ensures long-lasting performance. Designed for demanding outdoor use, it is ideal for lightweight trekking and adventure tents where strength and reliability matter.
HydroTex® HD RS
HydroTex® HD RS fabric is made exclusively for Robens to address our uncompromising need for a light, strong, durable flysheet material.
The tough 75-denier high-density, PU-coated ripstop polyester has a 5,000mm hydrostatic head waterproof rating, UV-inhibitors, and is fire retardant for safety. This fabric will withstand the heavy use experienced when regularly participating in outdoor activities.
HydroTex® Polycotton
HydroTex® Polycotton delivers top technical performance and comfort. The durable tight-weave fabric has a water-repellent treatment that assists rain runoff from tent walls.
As the rain gets heavier, its fibers swell to form a waterproof seal. Its UV-inhibitor treatment helps it last for years with care. This superb breathable fabric maintains the tent’s microclimate by eliminating condensation and keeping the internal temperature cool in summer and warm when temperatures fall.
