Sleeping bag guide
Match your sleeping bag to your adventure
Wrap yourself in comfort and grab your best night under canvas with the right sleeping bag for your trip. A good sleeping bag makes all the difference when it comes to sleeping soundly. For summer holidays, stay fresh with a light 1-2 season bag. For cooler weather, go for a 2-3 season bag, and for mountain adventures, a 3-4 season bag will keep you toasty in sub-zero temperatures.
The shape of the bag is important. Rectangular bags give extra wiggle room and can be zipped together to create a double. Mummy sleeping bags fit closer round the legs, preventing cold spots and keeping you warmer. They also have a smaller packsize. Sleeping bag length is also a consideration. We have shorter versions for those who want to avoid a cold gap (and chilly toes!) at the foot end.
